Pease AFB, New Hampshire was a great permanent duty station. Located adjacent to Portsmouth NH and just north of Hampton Beach, NH and southwest of Kittery, Maine it is a good tourist area in the summer. The weather detachment consisted of no more than 25 weather forecasters, observers, technicians and admin people. A small close knit group, it was good people to work and party with. As you can see in the pictures below, winters were snowy but summers were the best.
